Truck Engineering Australia is approved under the Authorised Persons Scheme and can perform Modification Plate Inspections and Approvals for all Heavy Vehicle codes (see below) and some Light Vehicle (trailer) codes.
Such modifications could include:
- Fitment of a body
- Wheelbase Extensions
- Chassis Alterations
- Axle, suspension or brake substitutions
- Tow Coupling installation
- Vehicle Rating Change
It is recommended that prior to carrying out any modifications on your vehicle, you should contact TEA or review the VSB6 guidelines for each modification to ensure that the modification is in accordance with the code. Some modifications may also require testing / validation and where applicable, TEA can assist.
